Are these shed antlers or cut from the skull? These are antlers removed at our processing facility from hunter-harvested deer and not naturally shed. They are cut at the base and may include a small portion of the pedicle. Functionally identical to shed antlers for crafting and dog chew use.
Will I get to pick my antlers? No, our lots are packed by weight rather then hand-selected. You will receive a varied mix representative of what's in stock. If you have a specific use case (e.g., all small pieces for a small dog, or tine sections only), note it at checkout and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Are these safe for dogs? Yes, dense whitetail antler is one of the safest long-lasting chews available. Always size appropriately (the antler should be longer than your dog's muzzle) and supervise chewing. Replace when worn small enough to swallow.
