Tanned Deer Hides

Our wild whitetail deer hides are harvested in Minnesota and Wisconsin during the annual hunting season, then tanned at a licensed facility in either Wisconsin or Tennessee. No farm-raised game or chemically stripped imports. Hides are saved whole, salted, and tanned to preserve the hide's natural softness and grain. 

Because tanned deerskin hides come from wild animals, each one is unique: size, thickness, and natural markings vary from deer to deer. Leather may show marks, cuts, or small holes - field signs that are part of the hide's history. Please keep this in mind when placing an order.
