1. About Our Products
Deer's Leather Company sells natural, wildlife-origin goods harvested from American Whitetail deer, including tanned hides, hair-on hides, pelts, antler products, sinew, and related materials. Because our products are derived from natural materials, variations in size, color, texture, and appearance are inherent and expected. These variations are not defects. Product photos are representative and your item may differ in these respects.
Our products are intended for adult consumers. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.
2. Regulatory Compliance
Our products are wildlife-origin materials subject to U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service regulations under 50 CFR Part 14 and restrictions related to Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD). By purchasing, you represent that you are legally permitted to receive and possess these materials in your jurisdiction. Deer's Leather Company is not responsible for any local, state, or municipal restrictions on the possession of wildlife-origin goods that apply to the buyer.
We ship to residential and commercial addresses within the contiguous United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
3. Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product descriptions, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept payment methods made available through our checkout. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
In the event of a pricing error on our site, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund rather than fulfill the order at the incorrect price.
4. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds
All sales are final once an order has shipped. Cancellations are accepted only before a shipping label has been generated. Defective or incorrect items may be eligible for replacement or refund within 7 days of delivery. Full terms are detailed in our Returns & Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including product photography, copy, branding, and design — is the property of Deer's Leather Company and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission. Automated scraping, crawling, or ingestion of this site's content by artificial intelligence systems, large language models, or similar technologies for the purpose of reproduction or training is expressly prohibited without prior written permission from Deer's Leather Company.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and its contents are provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of product descriptions, the availability of inventory, or the fitness of any product for a particular purpose beyond what is explicitly stated. Natural material characteristics, including those described in Section 1, do not constitute a warranty breach.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deer's Leather Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or the purchase of our products. Our total liability to any customer for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the order in question.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Saint Croix county.
